Monthly Networking with a Purpose Entrepreneur & Business Seminar Series at the 7165 Lounge (former North by Northwest) located 7165 Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia. This two-part evening will take place on September 27, 2011 from 6:30-10:00pm and Topic I of our seminar is "Spotting & Securing Your Sponsor.” Topic II will be our 1-Hour entertaining and interactive television talk show on “What Do You Bring to the Table"(How important are assets as it relates to business and when choosing a mate?) Do we compromise our morals when we go after corporations for sponsorship if that particular company does not necessarily represent our core values?

Pure Lyrics Talent Search

The search is on for the tri-state areas Best Conscious/Clean and Inspirational Rap/Urban Contemporary Artist. Hosted by X-pressions and Supreme Gospel Entertainment, the Pure Lyrics "Just Be Different" Talent Search is an 8-week competition that will take place every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from October-January at the 7165 Lounge (former North by Northwest) located 7165 Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia.
The entire talent search will be broadcast live on www.urbanxpressionsvideo.com as well as Urban X-pressions and Supreme Gospel's You Tube Channels and Facebook pages. Viewers will have an opportunity to vote for their favorite artist each week and Brother Marcus of Praise 103.9 and Shelly Shell of Urban X-pressions will serve as the event hosts. Special guest recording artists will be featured on the show and will serve as support for the participants.
About Pure Lyrics
The Pure Lyrics "Just Be Different" Talent Search begins October 4, 2011 and is comprised into four categories: (a) Conscious Rap (b) Holy Hip Hop (c) Spoken Word/Poetry (d) Urban Contemporary. The finale concert will be on January 17, 2012 and the grand prize winner will receive:
• Distribution deal
• 10 Hours of Studio Time
• Feature on Elements of Inspiration
• Television performance
• Feature in the Scoop USA Newspaper
• Complete Marketing Packages (EPK)
Artist Requirements
Auditions begin September 20, 2011 at 7:30pm-9:30pm at the 7165 Lounge. A non-refundable registration fee of $25.00 must be included with the application. All music or spoken word/poetry MUST NOT INCLUDE profanity, violence, offensive tones to any race, creed, gender or culture. DMC of Run DMC mentioned, "The spirit of hip-hop was always about changing the world or yourself, not with a gun or with denigrating or offensive words, but by being effective with your mind. This is a time when everyone is talking about change, and we as a country have the opportunity to make a difference."
If unable to attend the first audition you have the option of online registration and/or registration at our headquarters.

The Pure Lyrics "Just Be Different" Talent Search is an 8-week competition that will take place every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from October-January at the 7165 Lounge (former North by Northwest) located 7165 Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia. This event is open to the public and admission is $10.00. We encourage all participants to invite guests because the audience will take a part in the judging process.
